Built on utility industry experience.
Silver Creek Services LLC builds Storm Assessment, on twenty years in the utility industry.
Twenty years in the utility industry — distribution design, GIS and field data collection for electric utilities, cooperatives and contractors.
Storm Assessment exists because the damage-assessment step was the one that kept getting done on paper. Crews wrote locations as descriptions, photographs stayed in a camera roll, and six weeks later somebody rebuilt the whole restoration from text messages and invoices to substantiate a FEMA claim.
The software is built around how restoration actually runs — the coverage is bad, the crew is tired, the person reading the report is not the person who wrote it, and somebody has to file the whole thing with a state agency later. Every default in it came out of that work, and every one of them is something a utility can change.
Built by twenty years in utilities. Tested by a hundred.
Storm Assessment was put in front of working damage assessors whose utility experience adds up to more than a century between them, and what they hit was fixed before anyone else saw it. It has also been run against a single company's map carrying 1,000,000 poles and 100,000 damage reports.
